Challenging Day 4 and Kabrhel's Nemesis
The Main Event WSOPE welcomed the top 37 players on the fourth day, led by Martin Kabrhel. Within two levels, the field thinned to three tables, and we saw a huge AK vs. QQ flip that cost Mini Main Event champion Yuhan Wang his tournament life. However, the most compelling story of the day belonged to the unique Martin Kabrhel, who experienced a true roller coaster.
After a successful start and returning from the break, Martin Kabrhel came back as a massive leader with over a hundred blinds, setting the pace again. However, he found his match in German player Bastian Gallitzendörfer. Twice, he delivered significant blows to the Czech professional—first calling a bluff shove on a dry board with A s Q c, as Kabrhel tried his luck bluffing with K h Q d, and then not backing down from another of Kabrhel’s overbet bluffs, calling with just top pair.

After these hands, Kabrhel dropped to a short stack, and his Czech fairy tale ended in a preflop coin flip with K h J s against Murilo Garcia's 7 d 7 c. This year, Kabrhel finished in 14th place, taking home €52,400.
A Marathon to Reveal the Final Eight
Over four hours after Kabrhel was eliminated in 14th place, his eliminator Bastian Gallitzendörfer formed the unofficial final table. After clashing with A d Q c against K s K c, he was forced out in 10th place (€65,500), leaving the game to continue.
The goal was to shape an official 8-max final table, which will be showcased today in a grand finale. The player not making it was German Robert Ashelm, who claimed 9th place and €84,985.

What Awaits in the Finale
The eight finalists will return today at 16:00 with an average stack of 8,237,500. Brazil's Murilo Garcia (54 BB) leads the pack, defending his position against Max Neugebauer (44bb) and Daniel Pidun (41bb). Neugebauer's performance is particularly noteworthy as he aims to become the first player in history to defend the Main Event WSOPE championship title after just two years.
