The second and final starting flight of the WSOPE Main Event saw 84 entries, with 54 players advancing to Day 2. This group included many prominent names from the European and global poker scene, such as Lukáš Pažma, Ivan Banic, Sirzat Hissou, Vlad Darie, and this year's Irish Open champion Simon Wilson.
The day ultimately belonged to Slovakian representative Marek Tomes, who managed to bag a massive 637,700 stack, building a significant lead over second-place Brazilian Murilo Garcia, who bagged 439,400. The top three is rounded out by Croatian veteran Ivan Banić with a stack of 410,500.
