A Lucky7s Ring Heads to Italy
The 8th ring event of this WSOPC was the NLH Lucky 7s tournament, with a buy-in set at €777. The tournament attracted 146 entries, and after the initial days, 38 players returned for the final showdown. Among those reaching the 22 paid positions were notable names: Zdeněk Žižka, Luka Bojovic, Mario Pichler, and Eyal Bensimhon.
Italian pro Alessandro Pichierri managed the final surge of this event with a commanding performance, securing the gold. Following the third-place exit of Slovak pro Lukáš Pažma, he faced off against the well-known showman Eyal Bensimhon in the heads-up round, claiming victory and a prize of €32,400 + $5k WSOPP Package.

High Roller Crowned by Local Zdeněk Žižka
The most expensive tournament of this festival was the ninth ring event – the €3,000 NLH High Roller with a guarantee of €150,000. The first day recorded 29 entries, with an additional 15 joining during day 2. Among the 7 ITM finishers was the outstanding Lukáš Pažma, securing yet another final table in this series.
The final three in this tournament offered a lucrative lineup, with the home duo Zdeněk Žižka and Patrik Jaroš battling against WSOP 2025 Main Event finalist Luka Bojovic. Zdeněk Žižka managed to best the field, claiming the ring and €45,000, adding to his WSOP bracelet and now coveted WSOPC ring this year.

Main Event Begins with Initial Flights
The crown jewel, the €1,500 buy-in Main Event, began with its initial two opening days, offering players a chance to enter with a 50,000 starting stack. The first flight, with 40-minute levels, drew 115 players creating 136 entries. From this, 21 players advanced to day 2.
The evening flight 1B, featuring quicker 30-minute levels, welcomed 41 players who made a total of 47 entries. Eight players advanced to day 2, led by Israeli player Eden Vaturi. The Main Event continues today with two final flights, day 1C starting at 12:00 and day 1D fast at 19:00. These flights are the last opportunity to enter and contribute to the million guarantee, which is currently just a quarter filled.
