The Main Event Final Eight is Set!
After four thrilling days, the $5,300 WSOPC Main Event Cyprus is just a step away from crowning a new champion. From an initial 1,372 entries, only eight players remain, vying for the esteemed WSOPC ring and the top prize of $1,000,000.
Entering the final day in a prime position is Austria's Daniel Rezaei, who brings a massive stack of 23 million chips (91 BB) to the table as chipleader. Rezaei has already secured seven-figure wins twice in his career, most recently just two months ago, when he triumphed at the Onyx High Roller Series in Cyprus.
Trailing behind him is Bernardo Baptista from Portugal (15.4M), who also claimed a major victory in August, nearly hitting a seven-figure sum by winning the 10K High Roller at the EPT in Barcelona. Given his current form, Baptista appears to be Rezaei's strongest rival in the quest for the gold ring.
You can watch the finale live via the livestream on the WSOP YouTube channel, where the decision will be made on who will take home the series' most prestigious title from Cyprus.
