WSOP Europe 2026 Introduces a Big New Feature: Ladies Championship with Its Own Bracelet Design

Article cover

WSOP Europe in Prague in 2026 will have a completely different dynamic compared to past editions that fans have known elsewhere in Europe. The combination of a record €10,000,000 guarantee in the Main Event and the newly added Ladies Championship creates a mix that makes the festival a magnet for professionals, recreational players, and media personalities alike. If WSOP can deliver the atmosphere we know from Las Vegas, Prague might establish a new tradition on the calendar that lasts for many years. The freshly announced Ladies Championship aims to contribute to this.

The inaugural WSOPE Ladies Championship will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Hilton Prague, and as is customary for these events, the tournament will be strictly reserved for women. According to WSOP, it is set to be one of the festival highlights, running from March 31 to April 12 in Prague for the first time, making it a candidate for the biggest European poker event of the year.

The Ladies Championship won't just attract players with its prizepool - WSOP has confirmed that the champion will receive a gold WSOP bracelet designed exclusively for Ladies events. This bracelet will feature a unique design and "more pronounced" setting, including additional gemstones.

Ty Stewart: "We Want to Define the European Pinnacle for Ladies Events"

With this move, WSOP openly communicates its ambition to build a "unique" women's championship in Europe. WSOP CEO Ty Stewart emphasized that when entering this new chapter in Prague, it was important for the program to "reflect the entire spectrum of the poker community." According to him, Ladies events traditionally belong to the most lively and competitive tournaments of the summer in Las Vegas.

Organizers don't want this to be merely a "nice complementary" item in the tournament schedule, but an event with prestige, atmosphere, and reputation that attracts global names. Strong promotion and a pre-revealed player list promising participation, regularly updated, are expected to help achieve this.
