WSOP Europe 2025 Kicks Off: 15 Bracelets Up for Grabs in Rozvadov!

Article cover

The European branch of the world's most prestigious poker festival, the World Series of Poker Europe, was established in 2007 in London and gradually moved through Cannes, Paris, and Berlin. Since 2017, it has found a stable home at King's Resort Rozvadov, where it has been held annually ever since (with the exception of the pandemic in 2020).

2025 Edition is Here

The long-awaited 2025 edition kicked off yesterday, and from the start of the festival, there's plenty to look forward to. The opening of the festival caters to players with more accessible buy-ins—the inaugural King's Million for just €350 offers a chance to fight for a million-euro guarantee. Opening flights are scheduled until Saturday (September 20th), with all advancing players meeting in Sunday's Day 2. Yesterday’s opening 1A flight recorded 182 entries, with the first 28 players advancing to Day 2.

Alongside this tournament, another multi-day bracelet event is underway: the €1,200 Bounty Hunter Opener with a €500,000 guarantee. Fans of four-card action will also find their niche as today marks the start of Event #3, a €1,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-Max with a €1,000,000 guarantee.

Saving the Best for Last

In the latter half of the program, focus shifts to high-rollers (GGMillion€ for €25,000) and PLO specialties including the Mystery Bounty. Ultimately, all roads lead to the Main Event, which last year was claimed by Italian Simone Andrian. This year, participants will aim to surpass last year’s 768 entries. Again, the Main Event offers two starting flights (October 3rd and 4th), a comfortable 100,000 starting stack, and 90-minute levels.

We'll closely follow the action in Rozvadov, bringing you the freshest updates from Europe's largest poker room. For those embarking on their poker dreams, we wish you the best of luck!
