Zdeněk Žižka Scores the First Home Victory
The popular Event #7: €600 Mystery Bounty NLH attracted 546 entries and generated a prize pool of €327,600, slightly surpassing the tournament's original guarantee. After the initial three flights, the event culminated on the final day with local player Zdeněk Žižka emerging victorious. The Czech player confirmed the stellar form of local contenders at the WSOP Circuit in Rozvadov and, after a dominant performance, took home the main prize of €32,500, not to mention the bounty rewards collected during the tournament.
Last year, Zdeněk Žižka made the transition from the world of backgammon to poker, and his impact has been nothing short of a hurricane. At the 2025 WSOP, he secured his first gold bracelet and nabbed a seven-figure sum with his title in the $100,000 Super High Roller Main Event at the BSOP Million. Now he has added a WSOPC gold ring to his collection, proving he's a force to be reckoned with in 2026.
Žižka navigated the crucial phases of the Mystery Bounty with precision, and at the final table, he successfully tackled a strong German contingent. In the heads-up match, he defeated Germany's Robert Rummler, while Israeli Liran Manteka secured third place.
