Cosmin-Ionut Nica Takes the Festival's Top Prize
The Event #9: €3,000 High Roller NLH was among the most prestigious at the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov, drawing top European players. The event saw 93 entries, nearly doubling the guaranteed prize pool to €279,000.
The winner was Cosmin-Ionut Nica, who pocketed €68,100 for first place, marking not only the highest individual win of the current festival but also a new career high for the Romanian player.
Czech favorite Zdeněk Žiška came close to claiming a second ring at this festival. Building on his victory at the Mystery Bounty just two days prior, he finished in an impressive 6th place in the High Roller. Even though the title eluded him, it's another strong result confirming his excellent form in Rozvadov.

Lucky7s Brings Luck to Boris Progner
Another ring event at the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov crowned its champion. Event #8: €777 No-Limit Hold'em – Lucky7s recorded a total of 176 entries, but despite strong interest, the guaranteed prize pool of €150,000 wasn't surpassed.
Boris Progner from Slovakia celebrated victory and the golden ring, taking home €30,500 after a commanding performance at the final table. In heads-up, he defeated Cristian Valentin, narrowly missing two consecutive Romanian victories. The final table featured players from nine countries, highlighting the tournament's international character.

Main Event Still Far from Its Guarantee
The €1,500 NLH Main Event at the WSOP Circuit Rozvadov is fully underway, planned across five starting flights. Currently, we're through the first two, yet the tournament remains distant from its guaranteed €1,000,000 prize pool.
The initial flight attracted 154 entries, with 24 players advancing to the next day. The second flight saw 76 entries, with 12 advancing. In total, there are 230 entries and 36 qualifiers so far.
Leading the pack is Jose Gomez Casillas from Mexico, who has fond memories of Rozvadov. Last September, he claimed his first gold bracelet here by winning the Colossus at the WSOPE. Now he's poised for another strong performance, starting the Main Event as chipleader of the initial flight.

The second flight was dominated by the seasoned Tobias Peters, who stands as a major favorite for the overall win.
The Main Event will continue with three more flights, which will determine whether expectations are met and the event edges closer to the guaranteed prize pool. Below is an overview of the largest stacks from the opening two flights.
