The WSOP Player of the Year is an annual points race that has rewarded the most consistent player on the World Series of Poker since 2004. It's not about a single big score but about accumulating points for placements across tournaments (ITM, final tables, bracelets). Only two names have won this title more than once: Daniel Negreanu (2004, 2013) and Shaun Deeb (2018, 2025).
The new WSOP POY series will be supercharged with a total prize pool for the Player of the Year leaderboard amounting to $1,000,000. The winner will receive an enhanced package to WSOP Paradise valued at $100,000. Rewards in the form of packages and entries await other top finishers as well, with WSOP announcing prizes for the top 100 players at the end of the season.
Prague Kicks Off - 15 Bracelets and €10 Million GTD Main Event
The 2026 story begins in the heart of Europe. WSOP Europe, after years in Rozvadov, moves to Prague from March 31 to April 12, 2026, with 15 bracelets to be won. Highlighting the event is a Main Event with a €5,300 buy-in and a €10 million guarantee—higher than any tournament in Europe in 2025.
In addition to the flagship event, a new European Circuit Championship with a €1,500 buy-in and a €1.5 million guarantee creates a perfect "Mini Main Event" for a broader audience. The schedule also includes PLO events, high rollers, and competitive formats like the Rounder Cup, pitting "EU vs Rest of World."

Las Vegas and Paradise Confirm Dates
Following Prague, the caravan heads to its traditional summer home. The WSOP in Las Vegas (57th edition) is scheduled from May 26 to July 15, 2026, at Horseshoe Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. The grand finale of the season will again take place in December—WSOP Paradise 2026 is planned from December 1 to 18, 2026.
