The WSOP Main Event 2025 Final Table Is Set!

After eliminating thousands of competitors, the nine finalists have been determined and will take a day off before returning on Tuesday, July 15th, to compete at the WSOP 2025 Main Event final table. Each player is guaranteed at least $1 million, but the stakes remain sky-high with $10 million and the world champion's gold bracelet on the line.

John Wasnock enters the final table as the chipleader with 108,100,000 chips, closely followed by the tournament's standout story, Michael Mizrachi (93,000,000), who staged one of the biggest comebacks in WSOP history.

Kenny Hallaert (80,500,000) is also in the mix, having dominated the previous two days, alongside Leo Margets' inspiring run to become just the second woman ever at a Main Event final table.

Mizrachi Rises from the Ashes to Fight for Immortality!

Poker legend and seven-time WSOP bracelet winner Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi showed why he’s one of the most feared players. At the start of Day 8 of the Main Event, he was close to elimination with just 1.9 million chips – less than three big blinds. However, he bounced back, climbing back to the top through a series of double-ups.

Over several hours, Mizrachi survived multiple all-in situations, with two crucial double-ups against Braxton Dunaway proving pivotal. Twice completing a flush on the river, he narrowly avoided elimination.

Roared on by his supporters, Mizrachi advanced to the official final table, entering Day 9 second in chips with 93 million! He's now on the cusp of becoming the first player to win both the $50K Poker Players Championship and the $10K Main Event in the same year – potentially one of the greatest WSOP stories ever.

Leo Margets Makes History as the First Woman in the WSOP Main Event Final Table Since 1995

After 30 years, poker history has been rewritten. Leo Margets became the first woman since Barbara Enright (1995) to reach the WSOP Main Event final table!

Margets ended the day with 53,400,000 chips, carrying the 5th largest stack into the final. Already guaranteed at least $1 million, she has the opportunity to become the first female WSOP Main Event champion in history.

The best finish by a woman at the Main Event remains Barbara Enright’s fifth place in 1995. Annie Duke (2000), Gaelle Baumann (2012), and Kristen Foxen (2024) came close but none reached the top 9.

O’Hara Finally Strikes Gold! Wins First WSOP Bracelet in Mid-Stakes Championship

American pro Ian O’Hara finally secured his first WSOP gold bracelet by triumphing in Event #89: $3,000 Mid-Stakes Championship. In a grand finale, he defeated Bahar Musa to win $1,189,408, marking the biggest success of his WSOP career. Previously finishing multiple times as runner-up and third, this victory is long-awaited.

“It’s amazing. After being so close many times, it’s great not to hear the jibes,” O’Hara said with a smile. The tournament attracted 3,797 entries, with the prize pool exceeding $10 million. At the dramatic final table, O’Hara executed several eliminations and, despite an initial chip deficit against Musa in heads-up, quickly turned the duel in his favor.

Boulton Triumphs in Hall of Fame Bounty Just Before Flying Home

British player Joshua Boulton secured his first WSOP gold bracelet just hours before boarding a flight back home. In Event #92: $1,979 Poker Hall of Fame Bounty NLHE, he emerged victorious from a 1,115-entry field, defeating 13 Hall of Fame members to win $311,349 along with the bracelet. This win pushed his live tournament earnings over the $1 million mark.

Boulton was crowned champion during a bonus Day 3 with the last five remaining players. In a thrilling heads-up, he overcame American pro Rob Wazwaz, the sole WSOP bracelet holder at the final table.

“It’s unbelievable. I’m happy,” Boulton said shortly after his win. He jokingly added that his friends won’t allow him to complain about bad beats anymore: “Yeah, I’ll stop with that now. End of my unlucky bad beats.”
