Prime Championship Drives the Festival at Wynn Las Vegas

This year, the WPT Prime Championship stands as the main highlight of the first part of the WPT World Championship festival, bringing 78 events of varying buy-ins and formats to Wynn Las Vegas from December 2-22.

Looking at the history of the Prime Championship, it's clear this is consistently one of the year’s largest tournaments. In 2024, it drew 9,670 entries and a $9,379,900 prizepool, and the year before saw a record 10,512 participants with $10,196,640 in the pot.

Now, it's all in the hands of the 1,231 survivors. Day 2 kicks off Thursday at noon, leading players through a long day aiming for Day 3. This will be followed by the journey to form the final table, culminating in a grand finale where the winner will claim the WPT Prime Champion title and $1,177,880.
