The long-standing partnership between King's Resort Rozvadov and the Italian organization EuroRounders has once again delivered a spectacular event with a massive player field. This time, it was The Wolf Millionaire Main Event, a tournament that, with a €350 buy-in, guaranteed a million euros.
A multitude of flights with structures ranging from 15 to 75-minute levels attracted eager participants, ultimately reaching a total of 3,356 entries. By the end of the second day, only 67 players remained, and the third day whittled this down to the final nine. They faced off yesterday in a major televised finale.
At the beginning of the final table, the chip counts were as follows:
- Semen Karyi – 40,025,000 (100 BB)
- Grzegorz Ryszard Flak – 39,075,000 (98 BB)
- Toni Ravnac – 21,600,000 (54 BB)
- Victor Guillaume Alban Pahon – 14,350,000 (36 BB)
- Roman Lucas Sartori – 11,175,000 (28 BB)
- Josef Franz Obermeier – 11,150,000 (28 BB)
- Alparslan Ceylan – 10,325,000 (26 BB)
- Nicusor Matei – 9,875,000 (25 BB)
- Ngoc Anh Nguyen – 9,250,000 (23 BB)
Although each participant was already guaranteed an €8,700 min-cash at this point, there was much more at stake – nearly €150,000 awaited the winner! Additionally, the top six players secured tickets to the WSOPE Main Event, valued at €10,350 each.
The Swiss-French player Victor Pahon entered the final table in sixth place but withstood pressure from the big stacks. He scored crucial double-ups, and in the end, it was him dictating the pace. The decisive heads-up against Roman Lucas Sartori began with Pahon holding approximately twice the stack, giving him a strong position in the deal. He then sealed his victorious run and walked away with a total of €142,350, including a ticket to the WSOPE ME.
