The most watched poker content creator, Wolfgang Poker, regularly entertains his fans with engaging vlogs and videos from various sessions. In this latest video, he takes a trip to Texas with a group of friends, aiming to visit as many poker spots as possible. But even he might not have expected where this journey would lead him.
Before the first hand, he's stopped by a college golfer, and minutes later, they're all on the driving range, discussing poker spots and listening to how the guys want to play for five grand just like that. The motto here? Texas doesn’t think. Texas plays.
First stop: Kojack's Poker Club. Wolfgang sits down, wins $410 on the first hand with K♣ T♠. Two minutes later, he gets A♠ T♠, flops top pair with a nut flush draw, hits trips on the turn, and a nut flush on the river. The opponent shows only T♦ 9♦, and Wolfgang rakes in $1,420. Shortly after, he bluffs with K♠ Q♥, and the opponent folds, leaving everyone impressed with what seemed like a brilliant read. Reality? “A bluff that worked.”
The second stop is an entirely different world — an underground poker room. A dark room, blackjack tables lurking behind, and people you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley. But the action is intense. First hand: A♦ Q♦, board A♠ A♥ 8♦. Bet, raise, small ball, river fold by the opponent. A few hands later, Wolfgang faces an aggressive player with his pocket kings, leads all three streets, and hopes the opponent isn’t holding a nine. In the end, the opponent folds, prompting Wolfgang to quip with a smile, “I wanted more.”

After two stops, Wolfgang's team is way ahead. Day 2 starts on a light note but shifts gears upon entering Celebrity Card Club. First significant hand: A♥ 3♥, top pair on a board of A♠ J♣ 6♥ Q♣ T♦, yet he’s forced to fold against a big river bet. The opponent flips A♦ K♦ — his super read saves him a lot of money. Then comes the moment that defines the trip: K♣ K♦ versus 4♦ 2♣. On a flop of 9♠ 5♠ 4♥, the opponent jams the entire stack, Wolfgang snap-calls, and the board holds. “This is the action in Midland,” he says with a smile.
But the swings continue. The largest pot of the trip arrives with pocket J♥ J♠. In a multi-way spot, seat 9 jams on the flop 8♣ 6♣ 2♠ against two players, and Wolfgang knows he’s behind, but can he really fold here? “If I fold this, the internet will laugh at me,” he says, calling. The board completes with 4♦ and 3♠, and the opponent turns over 8♦ 6♦ — Wolfgang loses a pot worth $2,705.
After a rebuy, more pocket K♠ K♥, and naturally, an ace on the flop — the opponent shows A♥ 3♥, concluding Wolfgang’s session with a $1,775 deficit. However, friends Andrew and Drew are ahead, keeping the entire trip in the green.
And just when you think nothing more original can come, Texas throws the final curveball: poker in the press room of the Midland College’s baseball stadium. Wolfgang and the guys toss a ball around, trot on the field, and soon find themselves at the table. “We playing with seven-deuce?” he asks right off the bat. “Sure, five dollars from everyone.” Okay, this is going to be good.
The first serious hand — hits trips with A♠ 3♠ on a board of Q♠ 3♥ 2♥ 3♦, shoves, and the opponent calls with J♦ 3♣. Easy game - bags $500. The session wraps in a 3-way spot, where on a flop of T♣ 6♣ 4♦, Wolfgang with 9♣ 8♣ runs into opponents holding J♣ J♥ and A♥ A♦. The turn and river bring no help, and after a few more small pots, Wolfgang finishes with a gain of $52.
The final tally for the group after this trip is a profit of $5,302. All Wolfgang wanted was to find action, and Texas showed him that here, you don’t have to search for it — it finds you.
