A new European record was set during the Winter Polish Poker Cup at Banco Bratislava. The Main Event in the Mystery Bounty format went down in history as the largest Mystery Bounty tournament in Europe, thanks to its 3,839 entries. The final day saw nine players compete, led by chipleader Jacek Jan Wieczorek with a stack of 34.4 million. Among the contenders were Vitalii Shcherba and Patrik Demjančík, both aiming for the top spots. On the final day, players had guaranteed payouts of €2,580, but the main prize awaited the winner at €42,796.

Shcherba managed to turn the tables, ultimately clinching the championship title of the record-breaking Main Event of the Winter Polish Poker Cup.
