The Triton Poker Series is one of the most prestigious high-roller tournament series worldwide. Founded in 2016 by Richard Yong, Winfred Yu, and Andy Wong, it saw young Fedor Holz capture the first title in a $200k event in the Philippines. Since then, Triton has grown exponentially — expanding to Macau and Montenegro in 2017, and introducing the Short Deck format in 2018, where Jason Koon claimed the inaugural trophy. Koon is now a series record-holder with twelve titles and over $36 million earned from Triton events. Unique actions like the Triton Million for Charity in 2019, with a record $65 million prize pool in London, have also made Triton famous, won by amateur player Aaron Zang who took home $16.7 million.
What makes the Triton Series so captivating? Primarily, its astronomical buy-ins and participation from top-tier players: poker legends at the tables alongside business tycoons and daring qualifiers. The tournaments are exclusive yet often have a charitable aspect, featuring top-notch production with live streams that are technically the most sophisticated in the poker world. The series holds several records: for instance, the Main Event in Jeju (2025) with a $100k buy-in had 285 entries, making it the largest tournament with such a high buy-in in poker history. Another milestone was the $25k event in Jeju 2025 with 391 entries, creating the largest field in a Triton tournament.
What to Expect in 2026: A Return to Jeju and a 10th Anniversary
The year 2026 will be extraordinary for Triton as the series celebrates its 10th anniversary. Organizers have planned an impressive schedule of stops. Two destinations have been confirmed so far:
- Jeju, South Korea (March 2026) – the opening stop of the new season, featuring the mid-stakes Triton ONE festival and the classic Triton Super High Roller Series
- Budva, Montenegro (May 2026) – a return to the iconic Maestral Resort for another Super High Roller Series and the revival of the unique Triton Invitational
Organizers refer to the upcoming edition as an “incredible milestone”. Andy Wong, CEO of Triton, highlighted the community's support for the new Triton ONE series and promises an even bigger and better return. Nadia Leong, Triton's Brand Director, adds that the decade milestone will bring plenty of surprises and innovations for players and fans alike.
Triton Jeju 2026 – Returning to the Place of Records
Jeju Island is no stranger to Triton, marking its sixth visit to this luxurious destination. This is where the series' record-setting tournaments have previously unfolded. Following the success in 2025, it only made sense to kick off the 2026 season in Jeju. The festival will take place at the Jeju Shinhwa World resort, at Les A Casino (formerly Landing Casino), offering players top-class amenities.
Jeju 2026 will be special as it will host two festivals in one: Triton ONE (5–15 March) and the subsequent Triton Super High Roller Series (14 March–1 April), marking nearly a month of uninterrupted poker battles. A total of 14 Triton ONE events and another 17 Super High Roller Series events are planned — an incredible 31 events of various formats and stakes overall.

Highlights and Features of Triton ONE Jeju 2026
Triton ONE is a concept launched just last year (its debut was in September 2025 in Jeju) with the aim of opening the Triton world to players with a slightly lower bankroll. Buy-ins range from ~$2k to $20k; still high for regular players, but considered mid-stakes in Triton's context. The first Triton ONE Main Event in 2025 attracted over 1,000 entries, with champion Joshua Gebissa taking home $975,000 (having entered the event from an online satellite for just a few dollars!).
Now, Triton ONE returns in even grander style — the March festival will be longer (11 days) and more enriched. There will be 14 trophies in various poker disciplines. Of course, the Main Event with an $8,000 buy-in is not to be missed, where a seven-figure prize is once again expected for the winner. For the first time ever, there will be three PLO tournaments ($2k, $3k, and $6k), giving Omaha fans their due. Also, for the first time in series history, two events exclusively for women will be held — the $2,000 Bounty and the $3,000 Triton ONE-W Championship. These will be the most expensive women's tournaments ever played in the poker world, certainly becoming the center of attention.
Super High Roller Series Jeju 2026 – 10th Anniversary in Grandeur
Right after the end of Triton ONE, the main high-roller series will follow in Jeju. It will run from March 14 to April 1, featuring 17 high-category events. This is where Triton will commemorate its 10-year journey at the pinnacle of the high stakes scene. Buy-ins range from ~$20k to a staggering $150k, which will be a special 10th Anniversary Event dedicated to the milestone.
The first three days of the series will be dedicated to Short Deck: with $25k, $50k, and $100k tournaments. Afterwards, the classic high roller ride kicks off. Highlights include the $100k NLH Main Event (March 24–26) and the $100k PLO Main Event (March 29–31) — both of which have set records in previous years, so expectations are high. The celebratory touch will be provided by the aforementioned $150k Triton 10-Year Special, where the winner will receive not only millions of dollars but also a special anniversary trophy.
