The Road to the Title
The final table kicked off under the command of another German player, Cengiz Michael Schwalgun, who entered with a massive stack. However, a decisive clash with eventual winner Aram Ali proved costly. Schwalgun went all-in with a flush draw against Ali’s two pairs and, after an unsuccessful river, exited the tournament in a shocking 8th place.
This pivotal moment cleared the path for Aram Ali, who seized control of the table and applied relentless pressure on his opponents. Among them was Slovak Marian Uharček, who performed brilliantly but ended his run in 4th place. His strong hand, A h K h, fell short in a critical flip against Ali’s pair of sevens, 7 h 7 c. The Czech poker contingent was represented by Dalibor Dula (5th place) and Michal Schuh (9th place).
In the final heads-up battle, Ali faced Italian Daniele Sacchi. Despite a valiant effort by Sacchi, Ali's chip lead was insurmountable. The decisive hand saw Ali’s K d Q c standing strong against Sacchi’s A d 2 h. A queen on the turn 4 h T c 4 s Q h 3 c cemented Ali's victory.
