The Festival Series Bratislava Kicks Off on November 18, Promising the Largest Edition in Its History

Article cover

The Festival brand has firmly established itself on the European scene and is gaining more popularity each year. It’s no surprise, considering it consistently serves players exciting poker action complemented by a rich leisure program, thanks to its unique hospitality events and a wide array of formats rarely found elsewhere.

The upcoming Festival Bratislava, taking place from November 18 to 24, promises to be no exception. The festival will be poker-only, with no slot machines, roulette, or blackjack in the casino (but you can try sportsbook tournament for example). Bratislava’s week-long extravaganza offers more than 40 tournaments, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Will Hold'em Take Center Stage?

While The Festival Series is primarily known for its unique blend of mixed games and formats that you won’t easily find elsewhere, many might wonder, “Is there any hold'em in the schedule?”

The numbers speak for themselves. Despite the wide variety of tournaments, Hold’em remains predominant— the Festival Bratislava offers more NLH tournaments daily compared to similar European series. Fans of the two-card game can enjoy NLH action every single day, and unsurprisingly, the Main Event of the entire series will also be played in the NLH format.

Main Event with a €500,000 Guarantee

The multi-day Main Event, with a buy-in of €550 and a guaranteed €500,000 prize pool, will be the highlight. Flights will run from Wednesday to Saturday, with each playing down to ITM (12.5%). All qualifiers will meet in Day 2 on Sunday, and the televised final is scheduled for Monday.

If you prefer to stick with the classic and plan to play only NLH events, you won't be missing out. The tournament schedule includes these enticing options:

  • NLH Heads-Up (cap 32) at the start of the week,
  • NLH Progressive K.O. and Late Night Madness turbos for the night grinders,
  • NLH Mystery Bounty, which regularly attracts players with its mysterious prizes,
  • NLH High Roller for €1,100 for the most demanding players
