The Festival Rozvadov – After a Historic THMC, the Main Event with a €500,000 Guarantee Gets Underway Today!

A friendly atmosphere, great entertainment, an action-packed schedule of games and social activities, and, above all, top-notch poker — that's the vibe right now at King’s Resort Rozvadov, as the ever-popular Festival Series rolls through town.

The opening days of the festival belonged to a marquee partnership with The Hendon Mob Championship, and the turnout was nothing short of spectacular. An incredible 2,417 entries made this the largest THMC event in history, and the action didn’t disappoint with a prizepool of 304,542€. German players dominated, sweeping the top four spots. Champion Haik Tougu took home 51,000€ for his stellar performance!

This week, all the focus shifts to the Main Event. For a 550€ buy-in, anyone can take a shot at the massive 500,000€ guaranteed prizepool. Seven starting flights are scheduled from Wednesday through Sunday, with each player receiving a 50,000 chip starting stack and 40-minute levels. After the record-breaking turnout at the THMC, expectations are rising — how big will the Main Event get?

Main Event Kicks Off
 

After two relatively quiet days, the poker action is about to explode. The first flight of the 550€ Main Event, Day 1A, gets underway at 18:00, with half a million euros already guaranteed. Three hours before the flight, an 80€ Turbo satellite gives players a budget-friendly way to win their Main Event seat. On top of that, today’s schedule includes a PLO Turbo event, the final table of the NLH Mystery Bounty, and the national 8-Game tournament, featuring a 250€ buy-in.
