Saturday Is All About the Main Event
The highlight of The Festival Rozvadov, the Main Event, featured two pivotal starting days yesterday, both aiming to push the tournament past its ambitious guarantee. Flight 1E saw a solid turnout with 229 entries, aiming to play down to the final 29 players who would bag up for Day 2. After more than 13 hours at the tables, everything came down to a classic coinflip -4 c 4 d against A d K s. When the dust settled, the surviving semifinalists were left bagging their stacks and looking ahead for the next day.
The main protagonist in that dramatic hand, Like Boss from France, closed the flight with a massive chip leading stack of 1.556.000.
