Main Event Concludes with Thrilling Final Table
The Main Event at PSO Campione 2026 might not have matched last year's records, but it still garnered a massive 1,582 entries and a prize pool of €1,518,720. This easily surpassed the initial guarantee of €1,000,000, further cementing the growing prestige of the PS Open brand in European live poker.
After several starting days and a long marathon, the tournament advanced to an exciting final table, which was broadcast live on YouTube. You can watch the entire final day as a replay:
An interesting aspect of the final table was the significant Italian presence, with six out of nine finalists representing the host country. However, it was Switzerland's Elvir Nuhiu who ultimately celebrated victory. Starting in the middle of the pack, Nuhiu skillfully handled the pressure of the grand finale, turning his deep run into a championship title.
Following a deal among the last three players, Nuhiu first eliminated Stantchev in third place and then defeated Italy's Petruzziello in a brief but fierce heads-up. Nuhiu's win marked a life-changing triumph, significantly boosting his career earnings according to The Hendon Mob.

Kotowicz Wins the Mystery Bounty Cup
The PSO Campione 2026 also featured the popular Mystery Bounty Cup with a €400 buy-in, attracting 749 entries and creating an exciting field full of action, rapid chip movements, and substantial bounties.
Poland's Sebastian Kotowicz emerged victorious, taking home €32,095 including bounties for first place. Surprisingly, he didn't claim the largest total sum, as runner-up Giamberardini, though outplayed at the table, found more luck with the bounties, narrowly surpassing him in overall winnings. The podium was rounded out by Jakub Štěrba from the Czech Republic, who pocketed €11,840 but was less fortunate with the bounty rewards.
