Sixth Edition of The Festival Opens with Main Event and Hendonmob Championship Kick-offs

Monday marked the start of The Festival Winter Edition – Special, offering a unique poker week known for the widest mix of games and formats in Europe. The Festival Bratislava dives headfirst with 50 events featuring formats like RAZZ, HORSES, PLO, Sviten, 8-Game. These exclusive mixes make this festival a must-visit for anyone seeking variety, entertainment, and an exceptional atmosphere.

The main attraction is undoubtedly the Main Event with a €550 buy-in, featuring multiple flights. The schedule also includes a Mixed Games Main Event, T.O.R.S.E.S., also at €550. The Hendon Mob Championship, priced at €250, is also a highlight, drawing a massive field eager to be featured in the most famous live results database.

Yesterday, Banco Bratislava buzzed with excitement as Franke, the founder of The Festival, celebrated his 52nd birthday in grand style. From the editorial team, happy birthday Franke.

The poker tables were lively with the start of the Main Event featuring a €550 buy-in, where 200 qualifiers secured their tickets. Yesterday, 38 players registered, with 12.5% advancing to the next round. Five players, keeping their title dreams alive, bagged their stacks at the end of the night.

The Festival Main Event – 1A:

Apart from the main event, the second opening day of the Hendonmob Championship with a €250 buy-in also took place during The Festival. Currently, the prizepool exceeds €30,000 and is set to grow further with today's flights 1C and 1D Turbo. Flight 1C is scheduled for 1:00 PM and 1D Turbo in the evening at 7:00 PM.

Non-stop Action at Banco Bratislava

Straight after The Festival, the 25th Norwegian Championships will begin. Following last year's huge success, the Norwegians return to Banco Bratislava – this time in an even grander style. A massive turnout of Norwegian players is expected, for whom this event is a beloved tradition and one of Europe's largest national poker festivals. The milestone year will attract hundreds of enthusiastic players ready to ignite the tables. The schedule includes the open Main Event Poker North Masters, guaranteeing €300,000 with a €400 buy-in.

In April, look forward to two more major events. The first of the pair will seek Slovak Champions in poker with the Slovak Poker Open, where the Main Event will guarantee €300,000 for a €250 buy-in. At the end of April, the Euro Poker Championship will feature a guaranteed prizepool in the Main Event of €250,000.
