Years of proven collaboration between King's Resort and the Italian organization EuroRounders consistently deliver record-breaking poker events. One such event was the SharkBay series, which recently drew players to the Czech border with a million-euro guarantee for only a €375 buy-in.

The tournament gained momentum from the first flights, with Day 1E setting a record with 445 entries. The total number of entries reached an impressive 2,963, leading 233 players to Day 2. Of those, 35 players advanced to yesterday's finale, where they battled for the top prizes in the televised final.

Among the 35 finalists were Czech and Slovak representatives, though the finale did not go as planned for them. Roman Pekár finished 35th, earning €1,875, the Czech player 'Reprodrozd' took 25th for €2,600, and Slovaks Richard Kováč (19th) and Miloš Németh (15th) both claimed €3,600. The last CZ/SK player standing was Czech Richard Hromčík, who exited the final table first, taking home a prize of €17,881.

After more than five hours of play on the final day, the tournament reached the final table with Romanian Adrian Cazacu as the massive chipleader with a 95bb stack. He was followed by two German players, and together, these three held more than half the chips in play.

None of these three, however, made it to the top spots. The finale belonged to Markus Yamaci and Ciprian Paunescu, who started from 7th and 8th as the short stacks but managed to climb their way to heads-up.

After a dramatic heads-up battle, it was the German player Markus Yamaci who emerged as the champion, securing the title and taking home €133,250 along with a ticket to the Main Event of the WSOPE!
