This year, a new addition to the PokerStars Live events lineup combined popular regional tournaments (UKIPT, Eureka, Estrellas, FPS) into one brand — the PokerStars Open. Every stop of this "Mini EPT" series offers a rich program with a €1,100 main event guaranteed at one million.
In 2025, the series traveled to several European cities including Campione, Namur, and Malaga, finally arriving in Manchester this autumn. PokerStars Open Manchester took place last week (October 20-26, 2025) at the Hilton Deansgate Hotel in the city center.
Apart from the Main Event, the festival featured side events such as the £2,200 High Roller, £400 Mystery Bounty Cup, and £550 Second Chance, catering to all poker enthusiasts. The most expensive tournament, the £2,200 High Roller, was won by British 888poker ambassador Ian Simpson, who bested a field of 106 entries to claim £53,140.

Main Event
The Main Event with a £1,100 buy-in recorded 927 entries, perfectly meeting its guarantee. The player field included many familiar names, like British pro Ravi Sheth, Jack Hardcastle, and Canadian Hasmukh Khodiyara.
After three days of competition, the final table took shape, dominated by British players: the chipleader was Christopher Brammer (8,725,000), closely followed by Tuan Le (8,250,000). Overall, six out of the final nine players were locals, with representation also from Sweden, France, and Romania.
The finale concluded with a British heads-up between Tuan Le and Christopher Brammer. They agreed on an ICM deal before the play for the title continued. Eventually, Tuan Le emerged victorious, clinching the title by calling Brammer's all-in with As Js against Kh 6c, and sealing the win with another ace on the board for £149,200.
