Hoenig’s Stunning Comeback

The first-ever T.O.R.S.E. event of the PGT Mixed Games attracted 83 entries, and with a $10,200 buy-in, the prize pool reached $830,000. Ryan Hoenig emerged victorious, building on his success from WSOP 2025, where he claimed the $10K Dealers Choice and earned his second PGT title.

His path to the title was far from easy. In the heads-up battle against Philip Sternheimer, Hoenig faced a 1:3 chip deficit but managed to turn the tide.

Hoenig collected $232,400 for the win, marking the third-highest payday of his career. He also seized the top spot in the PGT Mixed Games leaderboard, aided by his final table finish in Event #2, where he placed sixth.
