PGT Mixed Games 2026: Dzivielevski Finally Breaks the Curse, Pan Dominates the Series

Article cover

First Triumph for the Brazilian Ace

Tournament #5 raised the stakes even higher. With a $15,200 buy-in, the event attracted 53 entries, boosting the prize pool to $795,000. Eight top players reached the money, while notable names like Johannes Becker, Cary Katz, and Nacho Barbero exited before the final table.

The final table began under the leadership of Sam Soverel, who entered with a dominant chiplead. However, the night's protagonist was Brazil's Yuri Dzivielevski, who leads the country's all-time earnings list with $10 million in live tournaments. Before this event, he had six podium finishes in PGT without a victory.

After a challenging course that saw him face Patrick Leonard in the final heads-up (both starting from short stacks), Dzivielevski finally broke his bad luck. The decisive hand came in Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo, where Dzivielevski's A s A c K d 7 c hit a Broadway straight on the board 2 h 8 d Q h T d J h, defeating Leonard's A d 9 h 8 s 6 d combination.

The Brazilian, a four-time WSOP bracelet winner, walked away with not only his first PGT trophy but also a $262,350 prize.

Qinghai Pan Blocks Dzivielevski’s Double Victory

The penultimate event of the series, Event #6: $15,200 Dealer's Choice, saw a triumph for a newcomer to PokerGO Studio but a seasoned mixed-games player. Qinghai Pan confirmed his superb form, turning his third podium finish in this series into a title, securing the top spot in the PGT Mixed Games 2026 overall rankings.

The event attracted 57 entries, generating a prize pool of $855,000. Nine players earned payouts, while legends like Jason Mercier and Chino Rheem fell just short of the final table. On the final table, Pan displayed dominant play, especially in the Razz discipline, where he captured more than half of the chips in play.

In the final heads-up, he faced Yuri Dzivielevski. Although the Brazilian vied for his second victory in 24 hours, Pan's massive lead proved insurmountable. It concluded in the Stud Hi-Lo discipline, where Pan's two pairs were enough to beat Dzivielevski's pair and failed flush draw. Qinghai Pan claimed his second PGT title, with total earnings from the series exceeding $500,000.
