The new Bounty Blitz from PGT highlights a diverse array of bounty formats. Over six days, six different bounty events will take place, all with a consistent buy-in of $5,300. Each tournament starts with a 125,000 chip stack, 30-minute levels, and a shot clock. Here's the tournament schedule:
- Event #1 – Classic Knockout ($2,000 for each elimination)
- Event #2 - Escalator (bounties increase throughout the tournament)
- Event #3 - Quattro (bounties begin when 25% of players remain)
- Event #4 - Progressive KO
- Event #5 - Mystery Bounty, with the second-highest envelope reserved for the final table
- Event #6 – Classic Knockout ($2,000 for each elimination)
All tournaments will span two days, playing down to the final table on the first day, which is completed the following day alongside the opening of the next tournament. Final tables for these events are exclusively broadcast on PokerGO.
Event #1: Becker Rises from Short to Champion
The opening $5,100 No-Limit Hold’em Knockout drew 46 entries, resulting in a $230,000 prize pool. Last night, the final saw the top 6 players compete under the leadership of Qin Zhao, who quickly took down Josh Arieh and later eliminated Andrew Lichtenberger. However, Jeremy Becker began climbing from a short stack, turned a crucial spot against Rabinowitz, and after a series of wins, knocked out John Andress. In the final against Zhao, Becker seized the lead, taking home $45,600 + $10,000 in bounties, along with 76 PGT points. For the "King of Las Vegas Dailies," this is his second title on the PGT circuit.

Event #2: Escalator – A Star-Studded Final Table
The second series event with the Escalator format recorded 48 entries, creating a $240,000 prize pool. During registration, bounties were valued at $500, increasing to $1,000 post-registration and $5,300 as the field was whittled down to 14. Spanish player Sergio Aido emerged at the top of the final six, joined by Chino Rheem, Chris Hunichen, Michael Berk, Event #1 champion Jeremy Becker, and Sean Winter competing for the title.
