The Main Event of the Slovak Series Of Poker recorded a total of 1,049 entries, surpassing the guaranteed prize pool. Yesterday, the final 16 players took their seats at the poker tables to compete for the top prize of €37,515. The battles from the final table were broadcast live on our website.

At four o'clock, the final action commenced, bringing together the last 16 players, including some hometown heroes eager to claim the title and keep the trophy in Slovakia. After a few hours of play, we had the lineup for the final table, led by the homegrown talent Lukáš Stopka with an impressive stack of 15.5 million chips.

Polish player Michal Mankiewicz was the first to exit the final table, securing €3,970 for his ninth-place finish. Among the local contenders, Ivan Sebelédi finished fifth, and Czech player Dalibor Dula claimed fourth place. After Ishai Pirke's elimination from Israel, it was down to the heads-up. In the heads-up match, Slovak Lukáš Stopka faced off against France’s Jonathan Bonnin. With a slight edge, Stopka stacked 27 million chips compared to Bonnin's 25 million.

During the heads-up, chips moved back and forth, but the decisive moment came when Stopka went all-in with his last 11 million holding K d Q h. Bonnin called with J h J d, and with no help for Stopka on the board, Jonathan Bonnin from France emerged as the new Slovak Poker Champion, taking home €37,515 along with the SSOP 2025 bracelet. Congratulations!
