The name Tom Dwan, or the nickname "durrrr," certainly needs no further introduction to the poker world. One of the biggest pioneers of poker and a long-standing legend is, however, not only known for his poker achievements. In the past, Dwan was accused of owing tens of millions of dollars, reportedly not only to various businessmen and wealthy individuals but also to the Chinese mafia. And just yesterday, Dwan received media attention again.
It all started on Tuesday, April 29, when Tom's X (formerly Twitter) began to fill up with strange tweets. In them, he asked for help from volunteers, from Donald Trump, or from Vice President JD Vance. On the social network, Tom gradually added statements about how he needs to get to the American embassy in London because he is injured. He accused British police of breaking his rib, injuring his hand, and trying to make it all look like a suicide attempt.
Uk met police likely broke my rib and I’d guess small chance punctured lung, still no x ray.

Also 20-30% broken hand (small), buncha other minor injuries.
The weirdo Fkers that are “doc/nurses” but still in investigative not proper normal ones are brutal.
The series of alarming messages continued on Wednesday throughout the day, when Tom wrote his room number, where he claimed he was being held against his will. He begged people to help him survive the next few hours because he was convinced they wanted to drug him and kill his brain. He said they got into his phone and were deleting his messages, and later, when a Poker News reporter arranged to meet him, he asked him to bring "clean water without any drugs."
Several members of the poker community responded to these messages; for example, Jaime Staples expressed his belief that Dwan is experiencing psychosis and encouraged him to trust the medical staff. Another professional, Kevin MacPhee, emphasized the importance of professional care in such states. The aforementioned PokerNews editor Will Shillibier, who visited Dwan in hospital, informed fans about his condition via video, stating that Tom looked good, was not physically injured, and in his opinion was in the right place where he could get help.

So far, the last Tom post was from the evening of April 30, where he wrote that he was starting to feel better and apologized for causing stress. According to British medical regulations, a patient can be held in a psychiatric ward for up to 72 hours for observation, after which further steps are decided. Currently, Dwan is under the supervision of experts who are monitoring his condition and providing him with the necessary care. We will inform you about further developments.
