Germany's Nils Pudel becomes Luxon Mystery Bounty champion after the deal

The Royal Dublin Society is currently running the Irish Open series, which has already had one big multi-day tournament, the Luxon Mystery Bounty with a buy-in of €1,150 and a guarantee of €1,000,000.

The tournament brought in 1,222 entries, bringing the prizepool to €1,191,450. A prize of €102,600 awaited the winner, with the top 8 players battling it out in the final table. They were led by Greek player Nikolaos Angelou with a huge stack of up to 19,550,000. The second largest stack (8,100,000) was held by Swiss player Yannick Jobin.

After the elimination of Yannick Jobin in fourth place, the last three players together negotiated a deal. The chipleader was Swiss player Fabian Rolli, who won €73,480. Nikolaos Angelou secured €71,090 and Nils Pudel was assured of €67,510.

After the deal, the players only played for the trophy, which went to Nils Pudel, making him the official winner. He added bounty prizes to his original prize and took home a total of €117,060. Fabian Rolli took home the biggest prize of the tournament, €119,660.
