The popular Deutsche Poker Tour returned to King's Resort in Rozvadov, offering players a €175 tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of €300,000. Over the initial days, participants generated a total of 1,806 entries, leading to a grueling final day where the top 180 players competed.
Though everyone was guaranteed a €350 min-cash, much more was at stake—€48,350 awaited the winner, along with a ticket to the upcoming WSOPE Main Event. The finale stretched into the early morning hours and could be followed live via this stream:
Following an intense night, the final table was formed by early morning. Players still faced a three-hour showdown for the biggest prizes. The Czech Republic was represented by Martin Benda. With his last 10bb, he went all-in with A s 3 c against Q s T d. A T c on the turn sealed his fate with an 8th place finish, earning him €3,100.
Slovak contender Radoslav Elizeus also had a promising run, sitting second in chips at the final table. However, he faced a crucial preflop flip for the chiplead with Q h Q d against MeisterJohnny's A s K c. A club ace on the flop dashed his hopes, finishing in 7th place with €4,400.
Thanks to this chiplead, MeisterJohnny reached a 3-way deal in the end, sharing the prize pool with his fellow Germans Vikrant Mangal and Arndt Brinkmann. All three also received tickets to the WSOPE Main Event, which is just around the corner!
