Yesterday's Day 2 of the GCPS Million tournament has set the stage for the decisive phase – with 26 players remaining, each guaranteed at least 4,560 CHF, while the winner of today's finale will walk away with a staggering 161,388 CHF. You can watch the battle for this prize live on our YouTube channel, Spadepoker DACH.
After the final turbo flight was played, 124 players entered Day 2, assured of a min-cash. The comfortable 60-minute levels allowed for plenty of play, resulting in some truly exciting poker. However, for several familiar faces, it was a short day – including Will Kassouf, who was knocked out before the final four tables.

As the hours passed, the field whittled down to the final 26 players. Leading the pack is Itsamyth from Switzerland, who bagged a commanding chip stack of 5,520,000, well ahead of Austria's Andreas Hofer (4,435,000). On the televised table, local player Der Fischflüsterer shone brightly, currently sitting in third place with a stack of 3,825,000. The fifth position is held by GCPS Championship finalist, Nexo F. Xela (3,260,000).
