GCPS Master to Crown Its Champion Today, Italian Falcone Leads the Final Nine

Article cover

The inaugural tournament of the new GCPS series, titled Master, saw a significant turnout at Grand Casino Liechtenstein. Across eight initial flights, a total of 1,003 entries (711 unique players + 292 re-entries) were recorded. The last turbo flight right before day 2 attracted another 109 registrations, nearly hitting the massive guarantee with a collection of CHF 289,450.

Yesterday, 118 players entered Day 2, each already securing a minimum payout of CHF 610. The fast-paced action saw quick eliminations early on, as you could follow the over 10-hour journey to the formation of the final table live on our stream.

Surprisingly, previous tournament leaders Simon Feistle and Ramon Lampert didn't make it to the final showdown, finishing in 42nd and 30th places respectively. Just missing out on the final, regular player Thomas Hofmann finished 17th, and player known as 'The Rock' exited in 14th after a brutal suckout with AA against AT.
