The Grand Casino Poker Series is almost at its conclusion in its second edition. The half-million guarantee was surpassed thanks to 1,070 entries. Only 130 contenders qualified for Day 2, facing a long evening. The field needed to be reduced to the final eight, who will meet in today's finale.
All players who qualified for Day 2 secured at least 950 CHF, but the champion of the second GCPS Championship will walk away with a staggering 88,000 CHF. The lengthy poker session concluded with the elimination of the French player nicknamed "Paff," who took home 6,500 CHF for ninth place.
The final nine are led by chipleader "Rocky," holding a stack of 9,340,000 chips. Also at the final table, sitting in fourth place, is GCPS Master winner Mathieu Choffart, who has a shot at another title.
