The EPT festivals need no introduction to the poker fan. Europe's biggest series is renowned for offering a wide range of top-quality poker, which is complemented by a touch of luxury in Monaco. Every year, this stop is one of the most popular and attracts players from all over the world.
The 2025 edition will certainly be no exception, offering players 11 days of the best poker. In total, there are 60 different events for all to enjoy, including some of the most popular ones:
- April 30 - May 4: PokerStars Open Main Event (€1,100)
- May 2-3: PokerStars Cup (€550)
- May 3-4: PokerStars Open High Roller (€2,200)
- May 3-5: EPT Super High Roller (€100,000)
- May 4-10: EPT Main Event (€5,300)
- May 6-8: EPT Mystery Bounty (€3,000)
- May 8-10: EPT High Roller (€25,000)
New: Slide dealing
It is from this stop onwards that the EPT introduces the novelty of slide dealing, that is, dealing cards by sliding them across the table instead of the traditional 'pitching'. Slide dealing will be implemented during EPT Monte Carlo 2025 in tournaments with a buy-in of €10,000 or more, in cases where players are already ITM, and in some selected tournaments. Full implementation of this method is planned for EPT Barcelona in August 2025.
Will the record from last year be broken?
Records are expected to be broken right away in the opening PSO Main Event, and of course, subsequently in the Main Event of the entire event. In 2024, the ME became historic when it recorded a record 1,208 entries, creating a prizepool of €5,858,800. The winner was semi-professional Derk van Luijk from the Netherlands, who took home the equivalent of €1 million.
If you're looking for a combination of top-notch poker and an unforgettable experience in one of the world's most luxurious cities, EPT Monte Carlo 2025 is an event not to be missed. But if you don't have the chance to attend, at least keep an eye on our website for all the action!
