Rascar Dominates After Day 4 with Just 29 Players Remaining
The fourth day of the Main Event saw another significant cut. From 103 players, only 29 remain as the day concluded. France's Yohan Rascar surged to the top with a stack of 5,725,000 (191 BB). His substantial lead ensures he will achieve the highest victory of his career. Every remaining player is guaranteed at least €34,800, but they all have their eyes set on the €1,436,000 top prize and the title.
In second place is local player Sergio Carro Marin (4,275,000), followed by Sebastian Ionita from Romania (3,670,000) and Swedish player Rifat Palevic (3,310,000). The top ten also include experienced Brits Marc Foggin and Leo Worthington-Leese, who finished third in the EPT Monte Carlo 2023 Main Event.
One of the most thrilling hands involved Cesar Garcia, who ended the day just outside the top ten. He executed a dramatic comeback against American high-stakes pro Adam Hendrix. Hendrix, with Q h 8 h, had two pairs after the flop of T h Q s 8 c. After the turn 2 d, he called Garcia’s all-in and was likely to double his stack. Garcia, holding A c J s, needed a straight, and the river K c delivered the saving card. While Hendrix experienced a painful exit, Garcia solidified his position among the day's largest stacks.
Day 5 will commence on Friday, August 29, at 12:00 local time. Fans worldwide can watch the live action via our website’s Live Stream.

Gergo Nagy Dominates €10K Pot Limit Omaha
The Omaha special, with a buy-in of €9,700 + €500, attracted 145 entries, pushing the prize pool to €1,406,500. Gergo Nagy from Hungary celebrates winning, having bested Brazil's Jose Scarano in heads-up to claim a €349,800 prize.
Defending his previous year's win at this tournament emphasizes his successful streak over the past 12 months. Alongside two EPT Barcelona titles, he triumphed in the $50K PLO at Triton Poker in Jeju back in March, accumulating more than $2 million in winnings over the past year. Fellow Hungarian Csaba Fenyvesi improved the nation’s success with a seventh-place finish, earning €54,600.
