Exclusive Program with Million-Dollar Wins
WSOP Paradise 2025 runs from December 4 to 18 at the luxurious Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas. Organized in exclusive partnership with GGPoker and the prestigious Triton Poker series, the event features 16 bracelet events with buy-ins ranging from $2,500 to $250,000.
The headline event is undoubtedly the $25,000 Super Main Event NLH, starting December 10, boasting a record-breaking $60 million guaranteed prize pool. This marks the largest guaranteed prize ever in live poker tournaments.
The most expensive tournament of the festival is the Triton Invitational NLH with a $250,000 buy-in, kicking off on December 7. This invite-only format brings top professionals like Phil Ivey, Jason Koon, Alex and Kristen Foxen, Bryn Kenney, and Jesse Lonis together with invited business players. In total, there are five events with six-figure buy-ins.
Additionally, six WSOP Paradise bracelet events, including the Super Main Event, count towards the PokerGO Tour (PGT) ranking, paving the way to the million-dollar PGT Championship Freeroll.
Austrian Eibinger Takes the Title, Triton Trophy, and First Series Gold Bracelet
The first completed event of the WSOP Paradise 2025 festival has its champion, who walks away with not just one trophy but two. Matthias Eibinger dominated the prestigious Event #2: $75,000 Triton PLO 6-Handed, where he triumphed over 93 entries to claim his first WSOP bracelet and his fifth Triton Poker Series title. His commanding performance at Atlantis Paradise Island earned him $1,570,640, the lion's share of a nearly seven million dollar prize pool.
Eibinger confirmed his reputation as one of the top high rollers today. At the final table, he eliminated several top players, including Stephen Chidwick, Richard Gryko, and Biao Ding. Going heads-up against Michael Watson, Eibinger secured a swift victory with a river flush after a deal discussion.
In an interview, the Austrian called the victory "a very special win," as it was his first Triton PLO event. "It's fantastic because I have a WSOP title and another Triton title, which is really important to me. It motivates me to go after more titles," he added post-win.
Showdown of Poker Stars at Triton PLO Main Event
The fusion of WSOP Paradise and Triton Series sets the stage for high-roller highlights. The $100,000 Triton PLO Main Event already attracted 77 entries, creating a provisional $7.7 million prize pool. Late registration remains open until the start of the second day when the winner will be decided. The total prize pool and final payout structure will be confirmed after registration closes.
Already, it's clear that the tournament has drawn global elite players. Heading into the final day are 30 players, with top PLO stars leading. The chipleader is American Benjamin Tollerene, closely followed by Artur Martirosian. Tollerene is vying for his fourth Triton title and his first WSOP bracelet.
American poker also has other strong contenders. Sitting in the top 10 are Sam Soverel, Benjamin Lamb, and Sean Winter, with Alex Foxen and Seth Davies lurking just behind. Also high in the ranks are the stellar Canadian duo Daniel Negreanu and Daniel Dvoress.
