The legendary poker series Banco Casino Masters has closed its 41st chapter, which can be counted among the most successful editions. The Main Event beat the guarantee, and thanks to 2,098 entries, they played for €303,161. The number of players from all over the world was reduced during the playing days to a final fifteen that battled in yesterday's evening for the title.

The battles started at 16:00 on two tables, waiting for the formation of the final table, which we also brought to you via livestream on our website.

We got to know the complete lineup of the final table after Batte Elliot left the tournament in tenth place for €2,325. Dmitrijs Prohorovs from Latvia sat down as the chipleader. Thanks to his stack of 17,825,000 chips, he had the best prospects for the title. At the final table were also Zdenek Zizka from Czech Republic, Peter Kamaras from Hungary, and Benjamin Binyaminov from Austria.

There could only be one champion of the 41st edition of Banco Casino Masters. The winner awaited a reward of €50,261, which was fought for until the very last moments. After Peter Kamaras left in fifth place for €11,640, Benjamin Binyaminov in fourth, and Gregori Zubkov in third, the last two players agreed on a deal.

  • Zizka – 39,250 €
  • Prohorovs – 34,250
  • Play for 8,566€

The heads-up itself did not last long, and although Zdenek Zizka started as chipleader, in the end he came up short. After two hands where he lost a lot of chips, Dmitrijs Prohorovs beat him in the final hand with KQ combination. Zizka held AJ, but after a board of K-3-Q-Q-4, the Latvian representative Dmitrijs Prohorovs became the champion. For the victory, he took home the trophy and €42,806 from Banco Bratislava. Congratulations!
