Heads-Up Decided on the First Hand in Event #8 ($15,100 NLH)
Nguyen Le continues his incredible heater, which has already brought him titles from the BetMGM Championship, Borgata Poker Open, and the 50k High Roller at the WSOP. Now, he's secured his first gold at the PGT. In Event #8, he overcame a star-studded lineup to win $301,000 and earn 241 PGT points. In the final, he faced big names like Jeremy Ausmus, Joey Weissman, and Brian Batt, stopping the momentum of Alex Foxen in the final heads-up. The heads-up was settled in just one hand — both players hit the top pair on a king-high board, but Le's better kicker sealed the deal without further complications.

Alex Foxen First with 100 PGT Cashes
While Alex narrowly missed the title of Poker Masters Champion, his consistent performances led to another milestone — after placing second in Event #8, he achieved his 100th ITM finish on the PGT circuit, a first in history. His first PGT cash came back in January 2021 (2nd place in a 10k ARIA High Roller for $88,400) and since then, he has become a permanent fixture in the high stakes scene.
Foxen's career PGT stats after surpassing the century mark speak for themselves: 100 cashes, 74 final tables, 10 titles, 42 podium finishes, 9,957 points, and earnings of $18,729,963. In the historical cash ranking, Jeremy Ausmus and Daniel Negreanu (both at 97) are right behind him, followed by Sam Soverel (94) and Stephen Chidwick (93).
