A Star-Studded Lineup at the PokerGO Studio
The renowned PokerGO studio in Las Vegas hosted more than 50 personalities from the worlds of entertainment, sports, and the internet for this Celebrity Poker Tour Invitational VII. The roster included rapper 24kGoldn, dancer Alan Bersten (winner of the American dance show Dancing with the Stars), UFC fighter Paulo Costa, along with other stars like wrestlers Colby Covington and Tito Ortiz, influencer Bryce Hall, and the Chrisley family from reality TV.
The event's atmosphere was far from the tension of professional tournaments, it was a freeroll for invited celebrities focused on fun. An open bar and a relaxed audience contributed to a lively mood. At the side tables, magician Pete A. Sciarrino amazed fellow players with tricks involving a beer bottle, while Sofie Dossi demonstrated her signature flexibility at another table. Amidst the laughter and the show, poker was, of course, played, gradually eliminating one familiar face after another.

Blind Heads-Up
After several hours of play, the last eight competitors reached the final table, featuring a truly unique lineup. Joining King were 24kGoldn and Paulo Costa, as well as former NFL player John Johnson III and TV magician Pas Magic. When Bryce Hall and Savannah Chrisley quickly exited, only King and Alan Bersten remained.
One might have expected a dramatic duel full of strategic depth, but the audience witnessed something entirely different. Both finalists, weary of prolonged tactics, agreed to play the last hands blind - going all-in without even looking at their cards! A few wild rounds ensued, with luck doubling one player and then the other until the final all-in crowned King the victor. Initially in disbelief, it took him a moment to realize he had indeed won the entire tournament.
The Pre-Tournament Crash Course
The young influencer, who boasts nearly 2 million Instagram followers, burst onto the poker scene overnight — and at a prestigious event filled with celebrity names. Once King realized he had become the champion, his enthusiasm was palpable. “I’m incredibly happy, yet in shock because I came here without knowing how to play poker,” he admitted shortly after his triumph. Besides the title, he walked away with $20,000 in cash, luxurious Louis XIII cognac, and a championship belt.
King openly admitted that he had virtually no knowledge of poker the day of the tournament. Instead of lengthy preparations, he watched a short five-minute YouTube video titled “How to Play Poker” just hours before the start. Why bother with more? You might have heard of beginner's luck, and it was on full display here. “I came here not knowing how to play poker. Watched a five-minute rules video and just followed my intuition and the few tips I picked up today. And it worked,” King described his unexpected path to victory.
Yet more thrilling than the win was the experience itself. “Honestly, my greatest joy was just being here, meeting so many successful people from different fields, and trying something I’d never done before. I truly enjoyed it,” King shared in an interview. With a smile, he also hinted that if beginner's luck is real, he is its proof. He confirmed plans to participate in more Celebrity Poker Tour events and is already looking forward to seeing his winning photo on the wall of fame at the PokerGO studio.
