Festival Dates & Main Event Highlights
The Grand Casino Poker Series (GCPS) Master festival is scheduled for September 8–15, 2025 at Grand Casino Liechtenstein in Gamprin-Bendern. This week-long poker festival is the first of three big GCPS stops in Fall 2025, and it boasts a CHF 300,000 guaranteed prize pool Main Event for a modest CHF 330 buy-in. The Main Event is the centerpiece of the September series, featuring eight starting flights (Days 1A–1H) running from Sept 9 to Sept 14. Key highlights of the Main Event structure include a 50,000 starting chip stack and a deep structure to give plenty of play.
Notably, Flight 1A (Sept 9) and Flight 1B (Sept 10) are offered at a discounted buy-in of CHF 280 to encourage early participation. In addition, Flight 1C (Sept 11) features a “Top 5 Stack” bonus: the five largest chip stacks at the end of that flight each earn a CHF 2,000 cash bonus on the spot. Players are allowed multiple re-entries – you can re-enter across different flights if you bust, ensuring ample chances to qualify for Day 2.
Each Day 1 flight of the Main Event plays down until only 12% of the field remains, and all remaining players at the end of each flight are already ITM and advance to Day 2. Day 2 of the Main Event is scheduled for the evening of Sept 14, and the survivors will then play down to a champion on the Main Event Finale on Sept 15. The Main Event winner will claim the top share of the prize pool and glory, but there’s more: the top 10 finishers in the Main Event will each earn a ticket to the next GCPS Championship event in October (worth CHF 550 each)
GCPS Leaderboard – 100,000 CHF in Extra Prizes
In addition to the massive guarantees, players throughout the series can also compete in the exclusive GCPS Leaderboard, offering an extra 100,000 CHF prize pool. Points are earned in the Main Events of all three stops – Master, Championship, and Million – with the final standings determining who takes home a share of this lucrative bonus. The leaderboard champion will pocket 30,000 CHF, second place earns 20,000 CHF, and prizes are awarded to the top 10 players overall. What’s more, results from the GCPS Championship are multiplied by 1.3, and from the GCPS Million by 1.5, meaning strong performances in the bigger stops can catapult you to the very top of the rankings.
Side Events, High Rollers & Satellites
Beyond the Main Event, the GCPS Master schedule is packed with side events and satellites every day to cater to all bankrolls and poker tastes. The festival kicks off on September 8 with a CHF 20,000 GTD One Day Opener tournament to get the action started. Throughout the week, daily satellites priced at just CHF 60 (CHF 50+10) are offered, each guaranteeing Main Event seats (usually 3–5 tickets per satellite) to give players a low-cost chance to qualify. No-Limit Hold’em remains the focus, but there’s variety in formats: for example, Pot-Limit Omaha fans can enjoy a CHF 20,000 GTD PLO event on Sept 12.
For those seeking higher stakes, Sept 14 features a High Roller event with CHF 30,000 guaranteed (Buy-in CHF 990) to attract the region’s more ambitious players. As the Main Event plays down to a conclusion on Sept 15, a CHF 10,000 GTD Sunday Side Event runs alongside it to give bustouts (and anyone else) a nice consolation shot. Finally, the festival closes on the evening of Sept 15 with a CHF 5,000 GTD Closer event,.In summary, the schedule offers something for everyone each day – from affordable satellites and nightly side tournaments to specialty events like Omaha and Bounty, and even a high-roller.
