The concluding tournament of the WSOPC series in Tunica, Event #18: $400 Double Stack Closer NLH, was a classic “one-day sprint” where survival mattered more than style. The event drew 127 entries and collected a prize pool of $41,910. Once again, Hawkins demonstrated why he’s known on the circuit as a man who can “print money.”
Winning $10,473 doesn’t just mean securing his 23rd ring but also widening his lead in the historical standings. This victory extends the gap between him and his closest pursuers – Ari Engel currently holds 20 rings and Daniel Lowery 19.
And if that wasn't enough, Hawkins also clinched the series leaderboard in Tunica, earning a seat to the WSOP Main Event 2026. Naturally, he didn’t miss the chance to send a confident message to his “fans,” something Hawkins is well known for:
On my birthday, AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT TO MYSELF. I won Ring number 23 and World Series of Poker 10k Main event seat. For being Casino Champion. See yall in a bit, I am going to Disney with the Kids. #Hawksview pic.twitter.com/nz4Ehc2KJU
