WSOP: This year has become the biggest in history, will the European version do the same?
The 53rd year of the most prestigious world tour, this year premiered in new premises in the Bally's and Paris casinos, where it brought the global poker scene. Although the long-awaited breaking of the Main Event from 2006 did not happen this time either, the 8,663 main event participants produced the second largest Main Event in history.
The other numbers of this year are no worse, and in fact, lot of people were not expecting it. A total of 88 bracelet events produced 197,626 entries from players from more than 100 countries around the world, who shared $347,941,800 in prize pools. Compared to the record year 2019 ($293,183,345), this is a relatively decent 18.6% increase, which was contributed mainly by three huge events in addition to the Main Event – Colossus (13,535 entries), The Million Dollar Bounty (14,112 entries) and The Housewarming ($20,080) ), which became the 4th largest tournament in the entire history of the WSOP.
Where something ends, something else begins, so players can once again look forward to a rich year that will bring at least 25 announced WSOP Circuit stops and, of course, the popular European version of the WSOPE, which will also take place this year at the Rozvadov's King's Resort. On the date from October 26 to November 16, more than 12 million euros in guarantees will be waiting for players here, along with 15 bracelet events.

The main blockbuster of the European version of the WSOP will clearly be the €10,350 Main Event with a guarantee of €5 million, but the spectators will also get their money's worth in the €50,000 Diamond High Roller or the €25,000 Platinum High Roller. For ordinary mortals, €350 Opener and €550 Colossus are prepared, then the buy-ins of this series start at the level of one thousand euros.
If you are looking for more affordable buy-ins, the ring version of the WSOPC with a total guarantee of €2,600,000 will take place in Rozvadov from September 21 to October 9. The Main Event of this event will have a million-dollar guarantee with a €1,700 buy-in, but you can fight for the other 11 rings for much cheaper. The cheapest Mini ME with a buy-in of only €250 and a guarantee set at the level of €500,000 will certainly be interesting.
