WPT: Samuel Sreanak won PLO event, Main Event offers last flights

Samuel Stranak has been showing us his quality in recent years and after winning his first Slovak WSOP bracelet, he has now added the WPT title to his account. All eyes are now on the Main Event, whose prize pool will be decided in today's final flights.

Yesterday, several WPT Prime Slovakia tournaments were once again played at Card Casino Bratislava. One of them was the final day of the €100,000 PLO 3K High Roller.

The buy-in was €2,800+€200 and the entry count stood at 35. Cash prizes awaited 5 players, with the mincash worth €8,600 and €36,000 awaiting the winner.

Samuel Stranak shines again

The top 5 players also included one Slovak, Samuel Straňák, the owner of the first Slovak WSOP bracelet. Samuel took on Hungarian Bernard Larabi in the final heads-up match. However, the Hungarian was no match for the Slovak player and had to settle for €24,000. Samuel Stranak became the new WPT Prime champion and took home €36,000 along with the trophy.

The top 15 players made it through to yesterday's final. The top 5 players, however, also bagged a ticket to the WPT Prime Slovakia Main Event in addition to their prize money.

Christos Vettas from Greece and Josef Dobosz from Hungary faced each other in the final heads-up match. The players made a deal here and were now playing for the trophy. Vettas took home the trophy along with a €25,320 prize. Dobosz did not win the trophy, but took home the highest prize of all, €29,000. Congratulations!
