WPT: ME is close to a break the record, will it be possible to beat the goal of 1,359 entries today?
If you follow us regularly and carefully, you certainly did not miss the WPT Prime series at Grand Casino Liechtenstein. The connection of the international series with the largest casino in the region culminated in the million-dollar guarantee of the Main Event, which is already shaking in its foundations before the strongest flights.
Yesterday's strong two flights, which you could watch with us thanks to the report, contributed their little bit and secured more than 500 entries together! If we add them to the two previous playing days, we have a total of 853 entries, which means that we have less than 150 entries to fulfill the guarantee. Since two more strong flights await us today, the question is no longer whether the guarantee will be exceeded, but rather by how much.
As for yesterday, Flight 1C started at midday, which became the strongest of all the days played. A total of 272 players played it and 71 of them used the option of re-entry. At the end of this difficult day, the best 42 players, led by overall chip leader Luka Bojovic (835,000), were happy to advance to ITM and day 2.
This flight was followed by Day 1D at 17:00 with faster 30-minute levels. Even this opportunity to advance was not embarrassed and a total of 233 entries contributed a large share to the guarantee. At the end of the day, Daniel Salner took the lead, bagging a stack worth 485,000.
As for today's program, it is practically the same as yesterday. Day 1Estarts at noon, where a 30k stack, 40-minute levels and late registration open until the end of level 7 await you for an entry fee of CHF 1,100. At 17:00, the very last flight 1F will start, which will offer faster 30-minute levels. If today's game day will be in a similar spirit to yesterday's, then WPT Prime Liechtenstein has a great chance to attack the previous record from Taiwan, which was 1,359 entries.
