WPT Korea Main Event breaks the guarantee

The WPT Korea Main Event has completed all of its opening days and play has moved to Day 2. Among the qualifiers are names like Phil Ivey, Daniel Smiljkovic, Espen Jorstad, as well as Slovak Andrej Nagy.

The WPT Korea Championship is the name of the Main Event taking place right now in Jeju, Korea. The buy-in for the tournament was €1,926 and the guarantee was €1,376,000.

The Main Event produced three flights and after that the final number of entries stood at 1,065, which included 587 unique players. This number brought the prizepool to €1,790,500.

Today, the tournament has already moved into its Day 2, where 321 players made their way through. Of those, only 134 players can make it to the ITM, with a trophy, ring and €299,138 in prize money awaiting the winner.
