Wolf Millionaire awaits crucial flights, still a quarter of a million euros short of guarantee

The biggest poker event so far this year at the Grand Casino Liechtenstein is slowly heading towards its finale. Ahead of it, the strongest flights are yet to come, with 250 entries to be collected. Will they succeed?

The highlight of the first half of 2024 at Grand Casino Liechtenstein comes in the form of the Wolf Millionaire event, whose Main Event, as the name suggests, offers players a million euro guarantee. This has been collected for 10 days now, during which we have been gradually getting to know new and new adepts to win the title and the 6-figure prize.

Yesterday's Main Event featured a pair of flights, with Flight 1H kicking off at 13:00. It was attended by a total of 85 players who took care of 116 entries. The stack pack at the end of the day saw 24 players, with Austrian player "KJ" being the best with a stack of 620,500.

ME finals coming up

The spectacular Wolf Millionaire is slowly but surely coming to an end, and your chances of winning the title are inexorably dwindling. Today we have the final (and strongest) classic flights, and the very last chance to advance will be tomorrow's turbo flight. At this point, CHF 730,360 of the guarantee has been collected and we are still about 250 entries away from filling it.

Will the 7-figure prizepool be reached and the guarantee surpassed? How much will the players end up playing for? We'll find out all this in the next few days and we'll keep you updated. Starting tomorrow, you can look forward to live coverage of Day 2C, Day 3 and the final day on our website, as well as live streams from our production on Monday and Tuesday!

Side event winners

In addition to the Main Event flighters, two side events were played yesterday and also found their fans. The Black Wolf PLO event with a buy-in of CHF 440 produced 36 entries and the champion Angelo Riccio from Italy took home a prize of €5,760. The Grey Wolf K.O. tournament attracted a total of 94 entries and the winner here was decided by a heads-up deal, with Switzerland's Pero Jagustin taking home CHF 4,490 and Germany's Andy Michael Graf taking home CHF 4,360.
