Vivian Saliba wins her first WSOP bracelet and €91,400 to go with it

The charming Brazilian player, who has been appearing in various major series for years, has already made several WSOP final tables. Not once, however, has she won the coveted bracelet. But that changed on this night when Vivian won her first bracelet at the WSOP Europe stop.

The final day of the €2,000 buy-in, €2,000 buy-in, 229 entries and €398,231 prizepool 2k PLO tournament was also on the schedule at WSOP Europe in Rozvadov yesterday. A €91,400 prize awaited the winner.

50 players entered the final day, but only 35 of them were able to make it to the ITM, where a minimum prize of €4,130 awaited the players. Finishing just outside the final table were Hungarian player Ferenc Deák, who took home €5,099 for 12th place, and German player Dennis Weiss, who took home €5,860 for 11th place.

The final table included a trio of German-speaking players as well as one local player, which was Milan Skácel. Also seated here was well-known Brazilian player Vivian Saliba, and the only player with any WSOP bracelet here was Hokyiu Lee from Hong Kong, who started the final table as a massive chipleader.

In ninth place, Croatian player David Sosic busted out for €6,980. Just behind him, home player Milan Skácel also went to the cashier, taking €8,600.

After Lee was eliminated in third place (€40,200), Vivian Saliba and German player Markus Anheier entered the final heads-up. Saliba had a 3:1 lead at the start of heads-up play. That meant nothing, however, as the players moved up and down the chipleader position. Finally, however, Saliba hit a flush in the last hand of the day to defeat his opponent's two pair. Vivian Saliba thus took home her first WSOP bracelet and a €91,400 bounty to go with it, putting her over $1 million in lifetime live tournament winnings. Markus Anheier took home €59,700 for his second place finish, his highest career payday.
