Today we get to know the name of the Winamax Poker Open champion, who is up for €90,000
The Winamax Poker Open main event goes down to the final table. A trophy and a €90,000 prize await the overall champion. Yesterday, the field was whittled down to the last 17 players, who will "duke it out" in front of the cameras from around 13:00.
The Winamax Poker Open, which is currently reaching its climax at the Banco Casino Bratislava, recorded a total of 1,516 entries. The prizepool has climbed to a staggering €667,040, which was contested by 252 players yesterday.
From the opening four flights, the aforementioned 252 entrants who were guaranteed at least €1,000 advanced to yesterday's Day 2. However, no one wanted to settle for the consolation prize and all wanted to earn a seat to the final day. After a few hours of play, the final seventeen was formed and chipleader Benjamin Hammann from France would lead the way to the final table. Who will be able to bag €90,000?
