The WSOPE Main Event is heading to day 2, the prize pool has already exceeded 7 million euros

The biggest event of 2023 in Europe has already started its main tournament, which, thanks to the number of qualifiers, brings a truly unique field of players. Registration is also open during day 2, but it is already clear that more than 7 million euros will be up for grabs.

€10,350 Main Event

The European version of the WSOP annually attracts players from all over the world to King's Resort Rozvadov, where various tournaments with buy-ins from €550 to €50,000 await. This year's WSOPE offered players a total of 18 bracelet events, of which the €10,350 Main Event with a guarantee of €5 million traditionally attracts the most attention.

Thanks to more than 400 qualifiers, it was conquered already during flight 1A, which brought a total of 557 entries. The second and last introductory day yesterday contributed another 120 entries to the guarantee, but these numbers are still not final - late registration is open until the end of the fifth level of day 2, which will definitively reveal how much the best will play for over the next four days.

Dozens of world professionals have found their way to the Czech Republic, and among those who are advancing we can find names such as Daniel Dvoress, Alexandre Reard, Dario Sammartino, Johan Guilbert, Andras Németh, Roman Hrabec, Chris Brewer, Orpen Kisacikoglu, Hossein Ensan, Leon Sturm and Felipe Ramos.

€50,000 NLH Diamond High Roller

In addition to the Main Event, the €50k Diamond High Roller bracelet event took place at the beginning of the weekend, in which players took care of a total of 37 entries. After two days of play, the prize of €650,000 along with a golden championship bracelet was finally awarded to the Indian businessman Santhosh Suvarna, who we also interviewed shortly after the win!
