SPT trophy goes to Italy thanks to Maurizio Pisciotti

The final day of the Slovenian Poker Tour saw the top twenty-four players battle it out for the trophy and the €72,900 prize. Italian player Maurizio Pisciotti ultimately triumphed in the tournament.

The Slovenian Poker Tour KK Half Million Master tournament, which took place these days at the Kings Resort in Rozvadov, brought a half-million guarantee that could not be beaten. The player turnout reached 1,548 entries, with the 12% of players who had the ITM certainty being the happiest. The top 24 players made it to the finals and battled it out for the biggest prize money.

On the final day, each player had a €1,495 certainty, with a €72,900 prize awaiting the winner, plus a €10,350 ticket to the WSOP Europe Main Event. Karlovarský Král had the best of all players, starting the final day as chipleader with a stack of 8,740,000 chips.

We also saw the final table chipleader of the final day, who made it all the way to second place. Only the champion Maurizio Pisciotti from Italy was more than a match for him, and he took home a trophy, a €72,900 cash prize and a €10,350 WSOPE ME ticket for his performance. Congratulations!
